I’ve been doing kickboxing for almost a year now, and it’s still one of my favorite things to do. But even as much as it changes every time I go in for my workout, my body is starting to get used to it. To be honest, I didn’t think it was possible.
But I wanted to try something new that I could do at home. I don’t like standard gyms, and I figured one gym membership was enough anyway. So I did what most normal people do in this day and age, and I got on Amazon to see what I could find.
That’s how I tripped over Fe Fit, a 90-day workout program created for moms. This is an unusual choice for me for a few reasons:
- I’m not a mom.
- It’s way girly, and I’m way not.
- I had never heard of it before.
- It was $120.
All of that aside, I bought it anyway, because someday I hope to be a mom and it’ll be nice to have it on hand, and because the programs are for 30-minute workouts, three times a week. This is what I’m used to with kickboxing, and it’s about all the attention span I have.
So I tried it for the first time today, expecting that because of how long I’ve been doing kickboxing that it wouldn’t be all that challenging for me. I was really pleased to discover that I was wrong, and that I have a lot of opportunity to make this a part of my current routine.
We’ll see. It’s something new and different, and it seems like it’ll give me the opportunity to work my body in a different way and, hopefully, achieve the results I’m looking for.
